Over the past three weeks, Year 11 learners at CCS Eld Park have demonstrated resilience and determination as they completed their mock GCSEs and Functional Skills exams. The sessions were expertly overseen by Exams Officer Nancy Sinclair, with support from dedicated teaching assistants who stepped into the role of invigilators.
In between exams, learners also took the opportunity to visit City College Norwich and West Suffolk College. These visits gave them the chance to explore different post-16 pathways and gain a clearer picture of what life might look like after school.
Special mention goes to H, B and J, who have approached this demanding period with real maturity and focus. Their attitude has made a strong impression on both staff and peers.
Inspired by their older role models, a group of KS3 learners—W, O, A, L and T—chose to sit their own mock Functional Skills exams. It was an impressive show of ambition and curiosity, as they looked ahead to what lies further along their educational journeys.
Staff at Eld Park are proud of how all learners continue to take ownership of their futures, embrace new opportunities and support one another in the process.
