Compass Community School Randall Park is a specialist primary and secondary school in St Helens for children aged 7-17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
Randall Park has been created for children whose education has too often been disrupted, whose needs have not been met in mainstream settings, who have struggled to access education and whose potential has been underestimated. Our purpose is clear: to provide the security, consistency and ambition children need to make sustained progress in school and move forward with confidence into adulthood.

Our school is named after John Randall, a local man whose life reminds us that where you begin does not determine where you can go. Through curiosity, resilience and determination, he carved his own path in the world of geology and natural science. His story reflects what we believe about every child: potential is everywhere, and with the right support, it can flourish.
At Randall Park, you will find a calm and consistent environment where children are given the time and understanding they need to move forward. Every child arrives with their own story. Our responsibility is to listen carefully, look beyond behaviour and respond with, clear structure, strong relationships and high expectations.
