Staff and students at Compass Community School Essex are celebrating the success of their recent Ofsted inspection. Known for its idyllic rural setting, the school welcomed inspectors in December 2024.
When visiting the school, inspectors were impressed by the many opportunities provided to help students succeed in education. Among these, how pupils “value the way the school helps them to develop existing talents and spark new interests.” Ofsted also saw how the school, “ignites pupils’ aspirations for their future,” and “prepares pupils well for their next stages.”
Headteacher, Nathan Kempster is delighted for his school. “I am incredibly proud of our hard-working staff and students, and that this has been recognised in our recent Ofsted inspection,” he said. “Not only do we provide the more traditional aspects of education in class, we do so in a therapeutic environment, equipping our students with the skills needed to become responsible future citizens.”
