Learners at CCS Thornebrook have been busy making their spaces more vibrant and inspiring. Thanks to the creativity of a talented staff member, Thornebrook now has its very own reading corner. Beautiful mural designs brighten the wall, creating a calm spot for learners to relax and get lost in a good book. There are already plans to decorate the corner further with lights and extra artwork chosen by the young people themselves.
Meanwhile, outside, the greenhouse project is flourishing too. Some learners have been developing their horticultural skills as they work towards a recognised qualification. From sowing seeds to tending plants, they are gaining hands-on experience while helping the greenhouse thrive. Projects like these bring learning to life, spark curiosity and build confidenceâshowing what can be achieved when learners and staff work together to create something special.
