Learners from CCS Boleyn Park recently visited their local library for a morning of discovery.
The visit began with a lively book scavenger hunt, encouraging learners to search the shelves, ask questions, and think about different genres and authors. There was a real sense of focus as they worked together to solve clues and complete the challenge.
At the end of the visit, each learner was invited to borrow a book of their choice. Whether choosing a graphic novel, fantasy or non-fiction, learners were excited to start reading straight away.
Promoting a love of reading is a clear priority at Boleyn Park. Reading builds confidence, imagination and self-expression, and the library offers a space where learners can engage with books in a calm and enjoyable setting.
