Last Post Played at Athelstan Park’s Remembrance

French horn player, John Gibbons, played The Last Post as a part of Athelstan Park’s act of remembrance at their school.

On Monday 11^th November, Athelstan Park’s whole community gathered outside to mark Remembrance Day and at 11am Mr Gibbons played The Last Post – marking the beginning of the two minute silence.

The sombre occasion was observed with great dignity by staff and students, who would like to thank their colleague and teacher, John Gibbons, for kindly volunteering to play.
