Learners at CCS Hereford have been busy getting green-fingered with their new gardening club. They are growing a wide variety of herbs, fruit and vegetables ā with fresh basil proving especially popular!
Thanks to generous donations from local residents, the club has even set up a small stall nearby to sell their plants. The money raised is helping to buy extra resources for the club.
One learner shared how much theyāve enjoyed chatting with neighbours and checking daily to see if theyāve made any sales. From planting seeds and watering every day to repotting and creating colourful posters, the group have taken charge of every step.
Itās wonderful to see our learners growing their skills and confidence ā and giving something back to the local community too!
