Primary students at CCS Eld Park recently had a lot of fun building towers and making slime.
The activities were run to promote wellbeing and encourage team building. The towers were built using spaghetti and marshmallows – with the purpose being to create the highest possible tower. A combination of brittle spaghetti and fluffy marshmallows made the task particularly tricky for pupils, who demonstrated ingenuity in overcoming the challenges.
Once the towers had been successfully completed, the children went on to make sensory slime, using a mixture of conditioner and starch. This also proved to be a popular activity and provided fun throughout the day.
