Students at Tull Park look forward to enjoying their weekly sessions at Willow’s Forest School.
Willow’s put on forest-based activities for children – which take place regardless of the weather – to offer inspirational outdoor learning experiences. Each session focusses on a particular activity, which in mid-October was making leaf jars.
Primary, as well as some younger secondary students, enjoyed being outdoors and used their creative skills to make the leaf jars. During the session, students also developed some woodcraft skills, as they learnt about nature.
Staff at Willow’s are always pleased to see Tull Park’ children and have commented on how great it has been to see them gaining in confidence as the weeks move on. Other fun based activities at Willow’s include a mud kitchen and Harry Potter wand making experience. 🪄
The sessions have become a highpoint of the week for Tull Park children – who respond very well to the hands-on nature of the activities and the natural setting.
