Staff and students at CCS Aylward Park have secured an allotment and can’t wait to get started. These are well-known to be difficult to get hold of, so the school is clearly delighted by this.
Setting up, running and maintaining the allotment will be a great responsibility for the children, and will be used as a teaching platform for green initiatives as well as life skills.
The students hope to soon begin work on the allotment and are eagerly discussing how they intend to make best use of their plot.
