CCS Mountfields Park recently welcomed parents and carers into school for a highly positive exams evening, offering an opportunity to reflect on progress and look ahead to the months leading up to GCSE assessments.
The exams evening gave families valuable one-to-one time with Year 11 subject teachers, who shared personalised feedback on each studentâs strengths, areas for development, and the practical steps needed to support success in every subject. These focused conversations helped ensure that expectations were clear and that students felt supported as they continue through this important stage of their education.
Throughout the evening, parents and carers were also able to speak directly with the Headteacher, discussing next steps, post-16 pathways, and longer-term plans beyond Year 11. An independent careers advisor was available across the event, working closely with the schoolâs Careers and Destinations Lead to provide guidance, reassurance, and clear information about future options.
Feedback from families was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on how supportive, informative, and reassuring the evening felt. The event played an important role in strengthening partnerships between home and school, particularly during a key academic year, where confidence and clarity matter most.
The school is proud of the progress Year 11 students are making and looks forward to supporting them as they continue to develop over the remainder of the year.
To round off the evening on a warm note, families were also treated to complimentary Dominoâs pizzaâhelping create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for meaningful conversations.
