On Tuesday 26th November, staff and primary students at Eld Park welcomed their Safer Schools police officer.
The Safer Schools project is an award-winning safeguarding scheme, created to raise children’s safety awareness in the digital world. After listening to the police officer’s presentation, the children were able to talk about respecting each other online and ways to use the internet safely.
Students were highly engaged with this event and will use the knowledge gained from it to ensure that their own internet use is safe, appropriate and respectful.
