During careers week, Eld Park students have been learning about the skills and qualities relating to different job roles.
KS4 students H, B and L are completing their level 1 and 2 food hygiene courses. These are industry recognised qualifications required by anyone who handles food. H has also been practising painting a teacher’s nails, as she is considering a career in hair and beauty.
Key stage 3 student, R, is working towards completing a lifeguard course. This has put his skills to the test, as a very high level of knowledge and swimming ability is required in this important safety role.
Eld Park’s primary students are learning about the role of a police officer. They are particularly fortunate in this area, as their HLTA Lucy Holman used to be a detective. Under Lucy’s guidance, students will be conducting a mock police investigation over this half term.
