Across the Compass Community Schools group, learners and staff marked Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 11th December with a bright splash of festive fun.
Schools embraced the seasonal cheer by dressing in their most festive jumpersâfeaturing everything from glittering snowflakes to bold reindeer designs. The day brought a lovely sense of togetherness, with everyone enjoying the chance to celebrate and unwind as the winter term drew to a close.
At CCS Athelstan Park, learners and staff looked fantastic in their festive outfits and enjoyed a traditional Christmas mealâthank you to Justin for cooking up such a treat! In the afternoon, the school hosted a lively Christmas fayre, packed with activities and festive cheer. Orange Class treated families to a wonderful singing performance, while Blue Class ran games, crafts and a teddy tombola. Yellow Class offered face painting and homemade cookies, and learners proudly displayed some of their amazing work from this term.
Thanks to generous contributions from staff, families, and local supportersâincluding Think Cake and Arla Foods in Westburyâthe raffle tables were overflowing with prizes. In total, the event raised over ÂŁ200 for Barnardoâs.
While each school celebrated in their own way, the focus across Compass remained the same: creating joyful moments, strengthening community spirit, and spreading kindness. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this yearâs Christmas Jumper Day one to remember.
