A huge well done to our Year 11 learners at CCS Coastal Park, who have now fully completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award ā the first group at Coastal Park to do so!
Over two days, the group covered more than 13 miles on their final expedition, showing real resilience and teamwork. Despite a few early cries of āAre we there yet?ā on day one and facing rain on day two, everyone took the challenge in their stride and supported each other brilliantly.
A special mention goes to A, who showed incredible determination despite the extra demands that long-distance walking brings for him. His teammates made sure he was well looked after throughout, demonstrating the care and compassion that make us so proud.
This milestone is not just about the miles walked but the journey theyāve all made over the past three years. Congratulations to everyone involved ā youāve done yourselves and Coastal Park proud!
