World Youth Skills Day, held every 15th July, is a timely reminder of the vital role skills play in unlocking opportunities for young people worldwide. According to the United Nations, this day highlights the importance of equipping learners with employment, entrepreneurship and life skills, ensuring they are ready to navigate an ever-changing world.
At Compass Community Schools, we believe that every learner deserves the chance to discover their strengths and develop practical, technical and transferable skills. Whether itās learning to problem-solve during a mock police investigation, finding their voice in a courtroom drama or exploring construction trades at a careers fair, our learners are given opportunities to gain real-world experience that builds confidence and independence.
Through strong partnerships with local training providers, employers and community organisations, we make skills development an everyday reality.
