Learners from CCS Boleyn Park embraced the festive spirit with a joyful Christmas trip to Marsh Farm in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. The visit formed part of the schoolâs seasonal celebrationsâand it certainly delivered some magical moments.
The highlight of the day was the Gingerbread Experience, where learners were warmly welcomed into a world of festive fun. They toasted marshmallows over an open fire, played a variety of fun fair games, and danced the afternoon away at the silent disco. The disco, in particular, was a huge hitâbringing plenty of laughter and a few unexpected dance moves!
Later, learners explored the farmâs animal area, where they met some of Marsh Farmâs furry and feathered residents. From curious goats to friendly donkeys, there were plenty of opportunities to get up close with the animals before heading back.
Throughout the day, Boleyn Park learners showed enthusiasm and a real sense of community. Staff were proud to see everyone making the most of the experience and looking out for one anotherâvalues that sit at the heart of everything at Compass Community Schools.
The Christmas trip was a welcome break from routine and a chance to build shared memories as the end of term approaches. With happy faces all round, it was clear that the day had struck the right balance between fun, connection and celebration. The day ended with happy faces and tired feetâa festive outing enjoyed by all!
