Compliance Administrator | Compass Schools

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join our successful team that is reflective and creative in practice. Working collaboratively within our service and alongside the wider Compass community, you will strive to ensure that the children and young people in our schools reach their full potential.


You will work from our independent School in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire; however, you will support several schools in your region. You may be required to travel occasionally in your role to support the business within your region, which can be for a variety of reasons e.g., Including training and meetings.


We are looking for a committed member of the team who would like to work within a children’s service offering education services to children and young people.


You will:

  • Support the organisation in ensuring that the service is run in line with the Government Legislation, Ofsted regulations and our internal Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Represent Compass Education’s Vision and Ethos, whilst developing and providing a comprehensive and flexible administration service.
  • Have a willingness to understand and uphold education regulations, policies and procedures and safeguarding issues.
  • Be a strong team player and be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attend meetings as required and ensure accurate minutes/notes are produced.
  • Be able to answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel and have a willingness to learn the use of our in-house databases such as MIS systems and safeguarding software.
  • Have an ability to work under pressure and priorities your workload whilst remaining calm and professional in a busy environment.
  • Previous administrative experience is essential for this role.
