Staff and learners at CCS Willow Park North proudly took part in Mental Health Awareness Week, observed from 12th–18th May. In line with this year’s theme of Community, everyone got involved in activities that promoted care for both mental wellbeing and the wider environment.
To mark the occasion, learners wore green as a symbol of mental health awareness and solidarity. The school community also took meaningful action by heading out into the local area to take part in a litter pick—making a visible difference and strengthening their sense of connection to the area where they live and learn.
The #WearItGreen initiative provided a simple but powerful way for learners to show support, while taking practical steps to engage with the world around them. A big well done to all involved!
