This term, students at CCS Hereford have been developing their skills in home cooking.
In one lesson, J prepared a meal of toad in the hole for both himself and his classmate T. He put a great deal of effort into making the dish, and it paid off—T described it as the best meal he had ever eaten! His favourite parts were the sausages and the Yorkshire puddings.
The cooking sessions have given students the chance to try practical activities, build confidence in the kitchen, and share meals together. It has also been a way for students to support one another, take pride in their work, and enjoy the results of their efforts.
Well done to J and T for making the most of this opportunity.
