To celebrate the end of Term 2, eleven students from CCS Seacole Park enjoyed a well-earned reward trip to Alpamare Water Park in Scarborough on 4 April 2025.
Each student had consistently demonstrated positive behaviour and strong engagement in lessons throughout the term ā earning their place on this exciting outing, led by deputy head Alex Reveley.
Alpamare lived up to its bold reputation as āthe biggest, the fastest, the wettest, the warmest, the cleanest, the waviest, the newest, the funnest, the most unlike-any-waterpark-youāve-seen before waterpark.ā From adrenaline-fuelled slides to relaxing pools, learners experienced a day full of fun, laughter and adventure.
The group then spent the afternoon on Scarboroughās seafrontātucking into fish and chips and making the most of the sunshine with games on the beach.
Students were full of praise for the day: āBest day everā, āThe slides were insaneā and āPlease can we come back next term as a reward?ā were among the many positive comments made about the trip.
The impact has already been felt back in school ā with record numbers of learners now achieving āGreen Weeksā for positive behaviour and engagement in Term 3.
With Flamingo Land confirmed as the next reward trip, enthusiasm among students is stronger than ever.
An uplifting and memorable day ā recognising hard work, building friendships and inspiring learners to aim high.
